Temecula has a history of academic excellence.
Temecula’s public schools rank among the highest in state-administered achievement tests. More than 40 private primary and secondary schools and charter schools are available in the Temecula Valley.

Parents, business leaders and community members also contribute valued time and input to the Temecula Valley Unified School District (TVUSD). Through the Temecula Partners in Education program, the business community works with the District to support and establish technical/vocational education programs. Link to TVUSD website

Temecula is within a one-hour drive of 22 private and public colleges and universities with a combined enrollment of 151,068 students.

Cal State San Marcos, UCR Extension, the University of Redlands, and Concordia University offer classes in the city.

A Higher Education Center, including Mt. San Jacinto Community College, Cal State San Marcos, the University of California, Riverside, Concordia University, and Point Loma Nazarene University is planned for Temecula, which will offer an integrated curriculum designed to meet the needs of local business and industry, as well as provide the basics of core subjects.
