Old Town Bluegrass Festival
Old Town Temecula’s “Bluegrass Festival” is unique in that it features nationally known performers in free concerts. Scheduled workshops on the mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and banjo are also held for free. Organized jam sessions with host bands are also part of the event.

Painted Parasol Music Festival
Hips swing, Toes Tap, and dudes with no rhythm sway to the beat… Whether you’re an old rocker or a hip hopper, Old Town Temecula’s Painted Parasol Blues Festival is guaranteed to get you dancing. Western Days
Listen carefully and you’ll hear the jingle of Wyatt Erp’s spurs as he strolls down Front Street. Cottonwoods rustle like wind chimes as the historic old west comes to life during Old Town Temecula Western Days. Relive the thrill of the California Gold Rush as the kids try their luck at gold panning while you listen to great western music. Relive history as dozens of caricatures entertain with their zany skits. Visit with Mr. Lincoln and visit a civil war encampment. Old Town Temecula beckons you to come to Western Days

Street Painting Festival
Come and paint the streets in vibrant colors at the Old Town Temecula Street Painting Festival.  Learn techniques from master painters as they bring Old Town Temecula’s asphalt streets alive with brilliant pastels in the grand tradition of Italian Madonnari.  Hundreds of artists create beautiful murals right on the streets.  All artists are welcome, and families can join in the fun in the family section.  Come and behold all of the masterpieces at the Old Town Temecula Street Painting Festival. 

Hot Summer Friday Nights
“Hot Summer Friday Nights” is an annual event held in the Historic Old Town District beginning in early July and continuing through late August. The entertainment features live bands, games and prizes for the children, a rock wall, and Dynamite Dave who provides hours of family fun. Each Friday features a new theme, varying from Blues, Rocking Cajun, Steel Drum, Jazz, and Power Rock.  Events are provided free of charge.

Old Town Temecula Main Street Saturday Nights
“Old Town Temecula Main Street Saturday Nights” is a new concert series.  The evenings feature varying themes ranging from Blues, Rocking Cajun, Steel Drum, Jazz, and Power Rock.  All concerts are free of charge.

Old Town Temecula Antique Street Faire
Discover fantastic bargains and hard-to-find antiques and collectibles at Old Town Temecula’s Antique Street Faire.  The event showcases dozens of dealers and vendors featuring the finest collectibles, antique furniture, and vintage and heirloom jewelry, clothing and décor.

Quilt Show
Old Town Temecula turns into a six-block long patchwork quilt, when the Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild presents the annual Outdoor Quilt Display.  Come be a part of the fun as the hundreds of quilters blanket the streets of Old Town Temecula

Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest and Pumpkin Decorating
Costumed characters are invited to join in Old Town Temecula’s “Howl-O-Ween”. A costume contest is held and prizes are awarded in the following categories: best single costume, best family or group themed costume, and best pet and owner costumes. The event also includes a pumpkin decorating contest. The pumpkins and decorating supplies are free to all children 13 and younger while supplies last. Pumpkins can also be brought from home to be judged but must arrive on time.  Friendly Trick or Treating is also held at the district’s stores.

Erle Stanley Gardner Mystery Weekend
Erle Stanley Gardner was a Temecula resident and author. The prolific writer penned 151 books, including 82 about the fictional defense attorney Perry Mason. He wrote 271 episodes of Perry Mason as well as 20 made-for-TV movies. The mystery weekend is highlighted by a mystery contest in which a series of clues are performed and left throughout Old Town Temecula. Snooping sleuths are asked to determine the murderer and the motive fill out a contest application and deposit it into one of the collection boxes in Old Town. Correct answers are placed in a drawing where past prizes have included a $500 shopping spree in Old Town Temecula.

Country Christmas in Old Town
“Country Christmas in Old Town” is highlighted by Santa Clause in a horse drawn carriage and carolers strolling along Main Street.  The event also features Santa in his workshop and performances by various musical acts.  The community is invited to walk through Old Town and enjoy many of the unique holiday displays and gift selections available from the district’s merchants.
