Contributing to the safety of your community is a great way to give back to the public that has supported your business for so long. This can easily be done by joining forces with the Temecula Citizens Corps. We are currently conducting a fund raiser to purchase and equip five Safety Trailers that will be stocked with emergency supplies. A major disaster can happen at any moment and first responder resources may become over extended. Some neighborhoods could be required to go without professional help for several days. The Safety Trailers are designed to alleviate this problem by providing the necessary equipment for CERT trained members.
The Safety Trailers will be deployed at strategic locations throughout the city during a major disaster. In addition, the trailers will also be used at training drills, recruiting events, safety fairs, and other City of Temecula events.
Working with the TCC on this initiative will provide numerous benefits to your business. These include, but are not limited to:
- Your business logo or name will appear on all five trailers for donations of $1000 or more.
- Your business logo or name will be included on the TCC website and informational handouts.
- You will be identified at public events attended by the TCC.
- TCC Supporter graphic to use on your internal and external publications and advertising.
- One time recognition of your business or name in a public meeting by the Temecula City Council and the Public / Traffic Safety Commission.
- Assurance that your employees and customers have the assistance they need during a major disaster.
