Description:
When a Baker and his Wife learn they've been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they embark on a quest for the special objects required to break the spell, swindling, lying to and stealing from Cinderella, Little Red, Rapunzel and Jack (the one who climbed the beanstalk). Everyone's wish is granted at the end of Act One, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later, with disastrous results. What begins a lively irreverent fantasy in the style of “The Princess Bride” becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our children.

Description:
Zac Harmon is returning to his roots after several decades expressing an unbiased love for music. Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Harmon is a disciple of the Farish Street blues sound. Harmon's early years included stints as guitarist for Z.Z Hill, Dorothy Moore, McKinley Mitchell and Sam Myers. Sam along with Jesse Robinson and Mel Brown played a significant role in Harmon's development guiding his progress through the rifts of rock 'n roll to the true blues. Moving to Los Angeles in 1980 to pursue a career in music, Harmon worked as a studio musician and began to make a name for himself as a writer/producer. He produced songs on the Mystical Truth album for Black Uhuru that received a Grammy nomination in 1994. Sponsored by the Southern California Blues Society of Los Angeles, Harmon and the Mid South Blues Revue went on to win The Blues Foundation's 2004 International Blues Challenge as “best unsigned blues band.”

Description:
This exquisite European chamber ensemble from Venice performs their home season at San Vidal Church, where Vivaldi used to play, and where his spirit still resides. In their mostly-Baroque concerts – where each work is addressed not only with freshness and clarity but also immense passion – every nuance, texture, variation in color and emotion is explored to perfection, the sum total of their all-Italian brio. Their first USA tour two years ago included a stop in Temecula where they drew an enthusiastic response from a near capacity audience.
